height approximately 12 cm

In The Blue Lotus, the fifth volume in the comibook series The Adventures of Tintin, Mitsuhirato, a Japanese business man in Shanghai, makes life difficult in various ways for Tintin on orders from the Japanese secret service. He is the owner of the opium den The Blue Lotus from where Tintin follows him, only to observe a little later how the spy and some of his aides blow up a railway line. It is his intention to blame the Chinese for this, as a pretext for the Japanese government to invade China. Misuhirato is considered one of the most radical characters from the comic book series, as at the end of the story he performs Harakiri, that is he commits suicide.
