The Little Mole is a character of a originally Czech animation movie, drawn by Zdeněk Miler. In Czech the hero is called Krtek. This cartoon was created 1956 in Prague and was presented for the first time on the movie festival of Venice in 1957, where it won two Golden Lions. The title of the first cartoon was Jak krtek ke kalhotkám přišel (How the little mole got his trousers). Starting 1963 more episodes were produced.
