This set of 2 statues of the Maharaja of Gaipajama accompanied by his son is made of resin, handpainted and is part of a series of beautiful statues, designed and manufactured with keen attention to the original detail in Hergé's drawings.

Height approximately 29 cm.

The Maharaja of Gaipajama, who is now available in the series of resins featured in the poster for the exhibition Le Musée imaginaire (1979). Accompanied by his young son, he wears a bright pink silk suit and a turban adorned with a jewel and a feather. The elegant ruler rules over an imaginary kingdom on the border of Tibet. In Cigars of the Pharaoh, he helps Tintin to dismantle the drug trade organised by the Kih-Oskh. This figurine joins the other characters, and the mythical objects already available in this series.
