Funko Inc. is an American company that manufactures licensed pop culture collectables.
Funko is best known for vinyl figures and so-called bobble head dolls. The company was started in 1998 by Mike and Claudia Becker and originally they made several low-tech toy dolls with a nostalgia theme. The very first Funko Pop! figure was a variant of the famous restaurant advertising pop or mascot called Big Boy. Since 2005, the company has expanded its focus enormously and there is almost no well-known figure imaginable that has not been made into a Funko Pop! figure. The Funko Pop! figure is indispensable in collector land.
