This set of 2 statues of Tintin's friends Abdallah & Zorrino is made of resin, handpainted and is part of a series of beautiful statues, designed and manufactured with keen attention to the original detail in Hergé's drawings.

Height approximately 22 cm.

Abdallah is the son of the Emir Mohammed Ben Kalisch Ezab, who drives everybody around hi crazy with his pranks, except his father who worships and spoils him. An image of the Saudi prince Faisal II (1935-1958) served as inspiration for Hergé. Abdallah figures in The Land of the Black Gold, Cokes in Stock & Tintin and the Alpha-Art

Zorrino wears a red Peruvian hat, a traditional Poncho and has a slightly tanned face This young Indian with the pure facial features displays the same kind of generositiy as his new freind Tintin. He appears for the first time in Tintin and the Temple of the Sun.
